started tattooing at home. First in the attic of his parents house and later on in a rented room at one of Frank's friends in the center of Gouda. In that period Frank visited also other tattoo studio's and especially one; "Hanky Panky" in Amsterdam. At Hanky Panky's studio a lot of foreign 'guest tattoo-ers' came by, so this was the ideal place to learn. A lot of techniques were shown and exposed and of course learned. Years after that, Frank himself was a 'guest tattoo-er' at "Dick de Wit's Magic Tattoo studio" in Utrecht. When Frank worked in Utrecht for about a year and a half, he started working from home and tattooed only by appointment. Because tattooing was his passion, he was thinking to himself why he did not make his profession out of it. After a lot of thinking and making plans he was prepared to quit his old job and look for a location in Gouda. After finding this nice place in the center of Gouda he started his own Tattoo shop. Now he is working there since March 22, 2000 as "Tattoo Frank".
